Eurasian oystercatchers (Haematopus ostralegus) The eurasian oystercatcher is found throughout Europe, central Eurasia, China and the western coast of Korea. It is a migratory bird that feeds on molluscs, mussels and earthworms. Oysters are not part of its diet. Photographed in Israel in June
